APARTMENT INVENTORY, La Bohème

This sample inventory gives you an idea of what is to be found in the apartments (and approximately where, regarding La Bohème). Jump to the list.

You are kindly requested to put the apartment's furnishings back in their listed storage places prior to check-out, since this facilitates their localization by us, and by the apartment's next guest.

In general, the condition of articles in the apartment is “good.” Normal use will not change this, though of course we are grateful for the care you take of your furnishings. :-)


Replacing Lost, Broken or Damaged Article

Articles which are broken or damaged during your stay may be replaced by you, by articles of equivalent quality (by identical articles if the broken object is a member of a set — we can tell you where in the neighborhood to buy the item). Or, upon departure, you may request that we buy their replacements for you. In this case, we will invoice you for the cost of the articles replaced, plus a fixed “shopping” charge of 10 euros. Buying New Things Necessary to Your Comfort

We hope that your stay with us will be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. To that end, if you discover something missing that you consider important to your comfort, please stop into the Paris office, downstairs from the apartment, and tell us what it is that would make your stay more pleasant.

We will generally either fund or subsidize the purchase of the article in question, provided that it remains in the apartment inventory upon your departure. We will fund it entirely if we consider that a majority of your fellow renters will find the article to be important to their well-being. We will subsidize 50% of its purchase price if we consider that it is an article of interest to only a smaller proportion of our guests.


Where to Shop

There is a “housewares” section in the “Monoprix” supermarket / department store a couple of blocks from the apartment. This is where most of the apartment's furnishings were purchased, and replacements should be available. To get there, exit the building and turn right on the rue Dussoubs. Turn right onto rue Réaumur. Monoprix is ahead, on the right.

For any purchase of 20 € or more which you hope to have reimbursed all or in part, it is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to request an invoice (facture) in the name of Blue Marble Travel.


Internet Access

Exit the front door of the apartment building and turn left onto rue Dussoubs. At the first street, turn right (rue Tiquetonne). At the second street (rue Montorgueil), turn left. Cross Etienne Marcel, ahead on the left is a cybernet shop.


Apartment Tips
  • Trash pick-up is daily. Garbage bags must be brought to the street between 5 and 6pm and placed in any of the green collection bins. Yellow-topped bins, put out on Mondays and Thursdays only, are for cardboard and plastic recyclables. White topped bins, put out Thursday noon, are for glass.
  • Washing machine instructions (long and short versions) are in the cabinet above the oven.
  • Instructions on using the heaters and other household items are also located above the oven.
