Location:  we are in the heart of Paris (an easy walk from the Louvre, the Pompidou Center, Notre Dame Cathedral...). 

Our address, and the address of all three studios, is 2 / 4, rue Dussoubs, 75002 Paris.  Here is a neighborhood map.  And here are hints on how to get to us by various means.

Our neighborhood is the quartier Montorgueil, a beautiful pedestrian district in the 2nd arrondissement, the very centre of the city.  Detail?  Here:

Metro access is the best in the city.  No fewer than 9 of Paris’ 19 lines are within a 5-minute walk (and 2 more are 10 minutes away), including the airport lines to both Charles de Gaulle and Orly, direct lines to 6 of Paris’ 7 railway stations, and to the main bus & coach terminal.
The Etienne-Marcel station is 2 blocks from our front door, Réaumur-Sebastopol is 3 blocks away, and Châtelet-Les Halles is 4 blocks distant.

Our agency on the ground floor offers independent day trips to Versailles, escorted cycle tours to destinations outside of Paris, tickets for the métro, airport transfers by train or shuttle, rail passes, cycle rental (long-distance, touring cycles; and also “Vélib” Paris runabout cycles), luggage storage... a host of services to help you enjoy our city with minimal hassle and a short learning curve.  See here for details and a complete list....

About the Apartments:  their names are Soleil, Citron and Petit Nuage.  All have kitchens, detached shower or bath, and WC.  All include linens, towels, and all utilities.  All offer free wifi networks.

Floor space of Citron and Soleil is 21 sq. meters (225 square feet), Petit Nuage is smaller (16 sq. meters / 175 square feet).

A “Pack and Play” style crib can be supplied upon request.  
There is no charge provided total occupancy is no more than 4 for the studio.  If the baby is the 5th occupant (which we do not recommend — too crowded), an additional charge of 5€ / night applies. 
Floor space in Petit Nuage is not sufficent to comfortably deploy the crib when the bed is out, but you can make it work if you are willing to squeeze.

Soleil and Citron share the 1st floor of the building (European system, so one flight up).  They are the only apartments on the landing, and together occupy the entire floor of the building:  rented as a pair, they are thus suitable for a family. 
Petit Nuage
is on the 3rd floor:  the staircase is one best tackled with grappling hooks.  So it is not ideal for large amounts of luggage, or for heart conditions.  There is no lift / elevator.


Minimum stay is generally 3 nights

A 4-night minimum stay is required for visits encompassing these  “super-peak” holidays, unless booked within 30 days of the arrival date:  New Year’s Eve, Easter, and July 14th (Bastille Day).
If 4 nights are booked to satisfy this requirement, but only 3 are needed, and the unused night is not a Sunday or holiday, it can be returned to us (at time of booking only) for a 15€ rebate.

“Normal” rate + 16€ / night

Dates refer to “nights of.”  For instance, if any given date falls in a “normal” period, the normal price applies for guests staying that night.

Reductions (please round to the nearest whole € to get your final price):

  • “Last-Minute” rates are generally available for rentals subscribed within 2 weeks of the rental start date, and spanning at least 3 nights. 20 - 25% less than the usual daily and weekly rates.
    Exceptions:
    • Only available for rentals starting within 1 week in May, June, and September.
    • Not available for rentals with start dates December 18 - 31.
    - Exact “last-minute” prices are quoted in the table, above.
    - If the rental spans more than a week, the “Last-Minute” rate applies to all nights that fall within 3 weeks of the booking date, or withing 2 weeks if the last minute rate only applies for rentals one week away.  Additional dates are priced at the usual applicable rate.
  • *Rentals of exactly 6 nights are priced at the “Week or More” rate, which is more economical than 6 times the daily rate.  In addition...
    ...and provided check-out does not take place on a Sunday or a legal French holiday, one of these further discounts applies:
    - Reduction of 15€ on either the “Normal” or the “Off-Peak” (non-last-minute) rates.
    - Reduction of 10€ on any “Last-Minute” rate.
    If check-out takes place on a Sunday or a legal French holiday, no reduction to the “Week or More” rate applies.
  • *Rentals of 15 or more nights:  a 10% discount on the “Weekly” rate applies for nights after the 14th.
    The “Weekly” rate, applies to the 14 nights of the rental.  If nights are priced at different rates (“normal” and “off-peak”), this discount applies to the “off-peak” rate.
  • Rentals of under 4 weeks, but which are most advantageously calculated at the “4-Weeks or More” rate, benefit from a 15€ rebate per night of the 28 not reserved.
    Example:  your rental spans 26 nights.  Paying for 28 nights at the “4 Weeks or More” rate is more economical than applying the “Week or More” rate to a 26-night rental.  You would thus calculate your rental cost using the “4 Weeks or More” rate.  Since you only reserve 26 of the 28 nights, you receive a 15€ rebate for each unused night.  The cost of your rental would thus be the “4 Weeks or More” rate for its minimum, 4-week term, less 30€.

Other Notes:

  • Minimum stay requirements are detailed above.
  • Rentals which include nights in both “normal” and “off-peak” periods, and which are most advantageously calculated at the “Week or More” or the “4 Weeks or More” rates, receive the “off-peak” rate for any “off-peak” nights.
    Example:  a week-long rental with 2 days in a “normal” period and 5 days in an “off-peak” period will cost 2/7ths of the “normal” weekly rate plus 5/7ths of the “off-peak” weekly rate.
  • An additional off-hour check-in charge applies to holiday, evening and some weekend arrivals.

  • “Normal” and “off-peak” periods are subject to change with occupancy.
    Explanation:  when two or three of the studios are booked, the last one may thereafter be offered at normal rates for the dates in question.  Conversely, if all three are still open at the approach of a “normal” period, they may then be offered at the “off-peak” rate.  The price in effect at the time of your booking is that which will apply to your stay.
